I have read in other threads, mention of the secret way of getting into the boot but the detail has been omitted for obvious security reasons.

Would anyone be kind enough to mail me as my boot solenoid has gone pop and wont let me in.

I have the 'bible' on order but really want to get some more optimax in, as it seems like a sunny Sunday is on the cards.

My boot opening solenoid is playing up at present. It will pop the boot open but won't reset to let the boot click shut without being manually released. I have tried WD40 etc but still misbehaving - is it a faulty solenoid?

I would say so, as mine started doing the same then ended up locking me out after manual persuasion (it got sticky in its operation) hence my original post.

I took out the relay today (sealed unit so wd40 wont do much here) and its dead so new one on order from TMS www.tvrgear.com where I found an excellent online parts site
