Outside storage??

I am currently thinking about buying a cerbera for the summer months, however i am not fortunate enough to have a garage i can use to store it in. I know the chassis can suffer from weathering but can be protected by waxoyl etc.

Does anyone else store theirs outside and is it a good idea or should i just forget the whole thing?

Mine has lived outside for pretty much the whole time I've had it (8 years) with no real issues.

May be worth getting a car cover though, I've just started using a Covercraft one as I was getting water ingress in really persistent rain.

Thats reassuring to know, can you get uprated seals for the door shuts to stop the water ingress?

I've done the opposite.
Mine has to live on the drive. First year I used a Leven cover AND a full cover that came with the car from previous owner. Suffered some buffing/dulling where it rubbed in the wind. Second year bought a new full cover with nice soft liner but not much better. Third year just used a Leven cap but even that caused (light) damage at the top of the bonnet and boot. It also channeled water into the fecking boot.
This year just a good polish and wax in October and it looks the best at this time of year so far.

My Sag has lived outside for my almost 2 years of ownership. I bought a cover from covercraft and its been fine. The only issue is in strong winds the slight flapping of the cover could set the alarm off but no biggie really.

Yep, had pretty much the same issues. Car lived outside for 4 years and I gave up with the covers. We moved so it has a nice dry garage, but actually use it a bit less because when popping out it's easier to use the car in the drive. Terrible admission I know!
