New YouTube Layout

Just been on there now and seen the new layout, ignored it for a while thinking it was a poor attempt at a Aprils fools, but after viewing a few video's it seems like this is the real deal

personally i don't like it, but i suppose with time it will be a grower

Although interestingly they don't seem to have adverts on normal video pages now.

Can't figure it out. The filename is logo_april_fools-vfl157034.png but I have no idea why.

Is it meant to look like text (like some videos do). Though I swear it was like that the other day, may be completely wrong though.

TEXTp is there silly attempt at an Aprils Fools joke. Pretty pathetic really for such a big company, you think they could have come up with something better.

As for adverts on the home page, you need use an adblock addon for your browser if you are seeing any. I cant see any adverts...
