Here's the Solution :

Take Rear seat out and underneath you will find a long wire with a loop on it.

Pull the wire it will open the Boot.

HI, 51 reg cars don't have this option.

That only started on 02 cars....

Then its a little more tricky.

from the inside you need to remove the plastic trim which is covers the latch. once that is off on the lock there is a white plastic part, put a screw driver in and slide it. from the inside its on the left facing the boot and the plastic part is on the left too.

The plastic part is where the bowden cable attaches and was there from the start.

The main trim is held on by two plastic clips and once they are out the trim will lift up you should be able to release the boot without taking the trim out completely - careful if your to rough you will crack the trim
