Hi Guys,

I’m planning a trip to Monaco for my 30th (and my dad’s 70th!) with a few friends and wondered if anyone else is driving down as well?

We will be leaving on the Wednesday night, driving through France to the Alps, then re-tracing some of the old stages from the Monte Carlo Rally - arriving on Friday night.

It’s the first time I have been and wondered if anyone had any advice?!? What is the situation with the parties after the race etc...

We are about to book the Cafe de Paris for the race, as you get a 3 course meal, wine, waiter service etc. for what seems a very reasonable price. I know that the viewing is limited, but I thought this would be offset by the atmosphere and the fact there are large screens to watch the race on. Has anyone watched the race from here before?

Any pointers are much appreciated!
