Just got an email through from the guys at Underground Racing about their run at the Texas Mile in this Twin-Turbo Gallardo. 250.1 MPH on a standing mile, and yet street legal, totally driveable. Simply amazing.

This beauty holds the Texas mile record, hitting 250.1 mph, apparently a Veryon will do 205mph in a standing mile.
And a tubby old Ford 252.97
all be it with an estimated 1800 wheel horsepower and an estimated 1475 wheel torque
Pity a few of you Donkey & Pony boys dont show for the Fighting Torque event
