Hi all,

as title really. They seem to be popular enough, any one got any experience or know of alternatives I should consider for about the £700 mark under 15" splitrim wheels?

  • checks down back of sofa for spare £700. Finds nothing and wonders if he can list a kidney on eBay...**

PERFORMANCE

0-60mph =1sec
0-153mph = 4.8secs
Standing 1/4 = 7.6secs on pump gas and 315 MT drag radials
standing 1/4 = 7.41and 197.6mph on ET streets and VP Q16 so far.......
top speed = 223mph ,and no bodywork came off. This was done at Bruntingthorpe Sept 2008.That speed attained in a slow 19secs due to excessive wheelspin and coming out of the throttle(which was 1/3 down max!!.

HOLY st!!!!!

he he.. I know, but let's not turn this into a Victor thread, there's plenty of those around..

It was merely a comment on the quality of the kits from HiSpec..

First thing I did to the wedge: get some proper brakes. Ended up with a hi-spec 4-pot conversion and groved, vented (NOT DRILLED) 300mm x 28mm disks. This set I have fits in the standard 15 inch rims, don't know if anything has been changed and if it still fits if you buy new. Happy with it, on the road and especially during trackdays (no fade) but use dot 5.1 brake fluid as well. Pads either mintex or ebc greenstuff.
