Evening guys,

Sorry it's another 'diagnose my problem' question again..

Firsty it's a 1993 320i Coupe running the M50 Single-Vanos (Iron Block) engine with Siemens ECU.

Today, I parked down by the harbour with no issues but being a numbnut I parked a bit close to the 'hard' which floods at high tide. Cutting to the chase I returned to my car and water was just below the door shut line. So about 6-8 inches.

Anyway, I tried to start the car to reverse out before the water level rose and the car would turn over but not fire.

Anyway, I got promptly towed back out (thanks Volvo owner) and later the AA turned up and basically could find no spark. The fuel pump seems to prime but that also doesn't seeem to get power when turning the starter over (as per AA man)

Got a tow home.

I cant see any electrical connections that low down in the engine bay. Only the Lambda could possibly be affected but i'm sure that doesn't cause a non start issue.

Being Easter I wont be able to get my codes read any time soon so any ideas gang?

Much much appreciated.

Nik
