Homesafe on V8 vantage

Hi all, has anyone figured how to get Homesafe to work?

It's explained on page 2.13 in the manual, doesn't appear to be an option but i just can't get the lights to stay on.

Don't you just flick main beam on when the ignition's off? The lights then stay on for 30secs or so.

Pretty sure I've done this a few times (generally not necessary on my drive though!).

That's the way I understand it but it doesn't work on my car. Would you mind trying it again for me and let me know what you did, I'll try exactly the same on mine.

Not sure if you mean the "Car Settings" menu? I checked that it wasn't turned off but you can only choose 30, 60 or 90 seconds, no off setting. I did try changing it from 30 to 60 secs but it made no difference.

yup mine too, same as

Quick question, did you both have your lights on prior to the flick on the stalk or doesn't it

Doesn't matter.

I literally just jumped in the car, turned the ignition all the way round as if to start it (ie where it would be if you just had it switched on), turned it off, removed the key, flicked the stalk. Lights were never on.

I suspect it would also have worked had I not bothered with the key.

Are you pulling the stalk toward you? And you're defo using the left hand one?

I would imagine there's a relay of some sort controlling it. So if it doesn't work (and your lights work generally), and you've definitely checked everything as noted, I'd be inclined to get in touch with your dealer
