Mine does this. Turn it off at the wall. Wait 30 seconds. Turn it back on again. It takes a while to reboot though.

He definitely existed.

That is in no doubt, the question is are all the chinese whisper stories that were eventually published into a book a bit more like a Brothers Grimm collection.

Do we actually know for sure? Why are the Roman records so devoid of events surrounding his trial then?

A lot of Roman writers did write about him, he is mentioned in a lot of historians texts from the beginning of the next century.

Ha! That told you, smartypants! Jeeves was real. And he didn't know why he was such a tt. That is in no doubt, apparently.

What about writers of the day? Jewish writers, Roman writers? All the 'historical accounts' are a generation of more after he died. The Romans were anal about records, as were the jewish leaders, and yet no mention at ll of any miracles, sermons, baying mob trials, entrances into cities with palm leaves, etc... Where is the no doubt? Personally, I think there was a chap called Jesus at the time, who was a prattler, BUT, to say there is no doubt is a little off the mark.

I just don't get that if the son of God really was on earth & had the power to heal anyone - regardless of the illness/injury - why didn't he just heal every sick/injured person he ever met? As a kid in school I was told it was to keep the miracles special & so everyone appreciated them more & I bought into it but now I'm wondering why that was so important. Surely it would be better to just heal everyone, even if they stopped considering it to be such a big deal?

Apparently Jesus was crucified at 9am, and died about 9 hours later, so at about 6pm.
