...currently watching this movie and can't work out if it's:

1) A disaster movie spoof, in which case it could be a bit funnier;
2) An attempt at a serious action movie;

If it is '2' above, what were they thinking? However, I'm also beginning to think that it could be one of those movies which is SO bad that it's funny - laughing 'at' it not 'because' of it!

It's 2. It's ok if you don't take it seriously. If they only did what was entirely believable, it would be boring!

Yes, but the Americans don't seem capable of seeing how Daft they look to anyone else!

It's a fairly standard switch your brain off film.

If you try to think too much whilst watching it, you'll go mad.

I believe it is supposed to be 2). But, in truth, Steven Seagal has managed better.

It not just the acting and the implausibility: Firing machine guns (which never puncture the plane) which aren't heard in the next room on the plane). It's also the dialogue - it could have been written by a 12yr old.
