Not being that knowledgable about RC cars, im trying to gauage what to advertise mine for.

Ebay prices are all over the place.

Its a HPI Savage X SS 4.6. In good condition, with a good amount of extras and alloy bits inc alloy coilovers, tank guard and arms.

Also had new brake, new wheels/tyres, new diff cups, one way bearing and loads of other wear and tear bits.

Its also had some one off stuff done, like brake linkage conversion, and hump pack. Also a whip aerial.

Prob spent in region of £1k but got no idea what they fetch.

Any advice?

Would need pictures really, but you are looking at between 150-200 max.
They are an old truck and a bugger to work on (I have one too).
I am assuming you are selling it RTR with radio gear.
The thing is the net is full of Savages with alloy "bling" on them, and people trying to recoup the absolutely silly prices they paid themselves for the alloy.

You will find people will mainly want to buy it to strip and sell the alloy separately if it is in good condition. Having things like alloy arms make it less suitable for real world bashing really as alloy doesnt flex.

yeh its all in good condition, and any brken bits have been replaced. Its been stripped down and rebuilt several times so is pretty clean too.

Its all ready to run, and i have loads of spares too.

I realise its worth nowehere near what ive spent , but was kinda hoping for more than 150-200. I took a un-educated guess at about 350 ish but im obviously wayyyy out. ha

ill dig a pic out
