'Sorry, something's not quite right' - classifieds

I want to submit an ad. So... I edited an old add rather than doing a new one. Clicked 'Save and Return' and now when I try to edit the ad I get the above message. Ad id is 899991... ideas? Is it because it's too old? Have I wasted an hour writing a decent ad only for it to disappear?!

Techies are on holiday until after the long weekend, but I've just had a look for you and the advert is there and in the system, albeit not yet marked as submitted. Try logging in again in a short while, and let me know how you get on.

I have edited the ad details as they had a few things that were causing an issue. So if you didn't get chance to put up a new copy of the advert hopefully the old one will now work.

Any more issues then PM or reply here.

Thanks for your time. I've finished editing the ad however it is showing as expired and over 15 days old. I realise now it was a brainfart move simply editing an old advert - any chance the 'timer' for this ad can be reset as at the bottom it now says advert expired?

Actually scratch this, I have copied everything into a new advert. Could you remove the old one please? I have tried to remove it but am getting an error message?

Just had a look and you only have the new advert showing on the site now. I assume you got it sorted?

Well... I can't edit the new advert now which is weird. Getting the same error as before?

It was the (broken) link in the description and the "&" in the headline that were tripping it up. I've removed both so you can now edit it again.

Does it take a while for the ad to update? I've gone into manage my ads and edited, but when I search in the 'fieds it comes up as the previous ad version with the & in the title?

Yes, public part of the classifieds is cached for up to one hour.
