Hi,

My dad is currently building a bespoke cabinet for our AV equipment, and we're almost at the stage we need some glass for the shelves. If anyone deals with glass and can cut to our size/spec please email through my profile or reply on here.

Thanks.

my dad does, but is moving premises at the moment.

when I've needed anything, he's just advised me to go to the nearest glazing firm. if they build their own upvc units they will have full cutting/drillng/edging facilities. shop around if you want anything overly fancy or different colours, but you'll prob find it cheaper than you expect.

Nothing fancy really, just clear glass panels. Just unsure of thickness ect. The last lot he got was 6mm, but as these panels will be taking more weight he's unsure if the 6mm will manage, and if it wont what will! smile

Cheers for the advice and reccomendation.

if I see him over easter I'll ask, as he's made some nifty one-off bits before including glass staircases and some prototype canopies for the london eye.

with my crap glass knowledge, I'm sure you could get toughened panes if worried about strength.

where abouts are you in yorks?
