Well I can confirm that Loctite retainer 660 does not stop wedge rear wheel bearings moving if the housings are worn. It looks like the bearing just pushed the loctite out as is I pressed it in. The instructions with the 660 state you are supposed to rotate the bearing as you fit it, unfortunately there is no way of doing that !

Round 5 game plan :
Machine the spare bearing carrier to take a slightly bigger bearing.

I will beat the damn thing its just a matter of when smash

Either that or have it machined out and sleeved with an interference-fit sleeve to restore the diameter?

Tried that, £100 +VAT and guess what - It' has EXACTLY the same problem, kept it as I couldn't be arse'd to tear the whole thing off again and send it back

RT Racing have never seen this but I spoke to the guy from Automendon at BBWF last year and he has had the same issue and solved it by machining out the housing and fitting a slightly larger bearing. Fitting a sleeve is a possibility but the circlip slot complicates things a little. I'm going to drop off my "spare" upright 'n' bearing off at my local auto engineers and see what they can do !

The good news is I can now replace a rear wheel bearing in just under two hours !
