New Chimaera

Is it still possible to buy a new Chimaera, TVR still show it on the web site but non of the dealers seem to mention it

yep, think so....but they are now only making them to order as I understand it

The new ones have faired in headlights like the Griff though and IMO don't look half as good as the older ones..

IMHO TVR owners are being steered away from V8 convertables toward straight 6 coupes.I think this is a great shame as I am sure there are a lot of owners who would like to replace their griffith or Chimaera with a more modern version of what they have, but the current cars, as nice as they are, don't fill the gap.

i prefer the faired in lights, if money was no object i would upgrade mine!

I think you've got something there p7ulg. I expect the Tampon, sorry Tamora was supposed to be it - but alas...... So we have to fork out more for a Tuscan which is somewhere above chim/griff level. Dunno why the AJP V8 isn't used more.
