laptop charger getting hot
Discussion
sometimes its just a bit warm which i guess is to be expected but sometimes it becomes almost untouchably hot in a reasonably short (say approx 1 hour) time. other times it can be plugged in for a day and be barely warm.
laptop is a dell inspiron 1750 and the charger is the one that came with it
input: 100-240v 50-60hz 1.5A
output: 19.5v 4.62A
nothing noticably wrong with it physically and no burning smell but does get to the point of "smelling hot"
laptop is under 1 year so i guess i shouldn't have any problems returning it.
anything to worry about or is it to be expected?
also does anyone know about dells warranty? i didnt pay any extra for warranty just the standard "1 year return only" or something like that
