Guys,
Does anybody know anything thing about the SIM card for the PCM. I tried an old, but still working, pay-as-you-go SIM card. It activated most of the functions but would only allow outgoing emergency calls. It wouldn't receive any incomming calls. Any thoughts?
Also, off the wall, I think I read somewhere that the Litronic lights could be changed over to European spec at the flick of a switch. Is this true and where is the switch?

PCM II will normaly allow you to make a 999 call without the sim so it sounds like the sim may be duff. daft question but does it actualy still work in a normal phone? If it does then PCM needs a trip to an OPC If it is a PCM 1 system large Sim it may be the network has disabled the sim through lack of use? this happened to a frend and he just got a new pay as you go card. If you are on vodaphone they have a dual sim product(2 cards one number without swapping sims around)realy worth the £14.
Re the lights they are ajusted at the back of each light unit in the boot the manual says you can do it DIY but I have never tried.

Yep, the SIM card still works in the phone. I'll see what my OPC has to say. It's PCM1 as far as I can tell. Is the upgrade hardware or software?
The car is great. It's everything I hoped it would be plus a little bit more. 3rd gear is unreal, 1st and 2nd are just a blur, one massive wave of acceleration. The grip is stunning you can just keep piling the G's on christ knows when its gonna let go in the dry my internal organs give up well before the tyres. Build wise everything is just so solid you can tell its a quality motor you even get a compressor in the toolkit. Everyone who's been in it are stunned by it.

PCM I has the full sized sim card (credit card sized)
PCM II uses the newer compact sim card 1cm x2cm the systems are totaly different and as far as I know are not compatable I think PCM II was put into the 03 model year as a mate has an 01 car with PCM 1. I think he has just updated his discs So I will ask him and let you know
