Nah, I'm just going straight for the £40k RS500 on e-bay instead of this buying a Mk2 and messing about with it.

Honest.

wait till next months fast ford mag comes out... theres a shoot out on the rolling road of various tuning packages for the RS... not one of them made the horsepower the kit claims to give either

Worst kept secret in recent times this one! We all know it's the RS500 engine kit for a smidge under 2K.... but if you're an RSOC member, Mountune will drop the fitting price @ their HQ wink

"This upgrade can be fitted to any model year of Focus RS, new or used, and has a minimum 12 months/12,000-mile warranty on all parts fitted. Being engineered alongside Ford's Team RS, and used as the powertrain upgrade on Ford's own Focus RS500 limited edition vehicle, the Mountune Performance RS350 is the only performance upgrade that will not affect your manufacturer vehicle warranty.

As ever, our insurance partners Greenlight will also allow Mountune Focus RS customers to add an upgrade kit to their policy without any additional policy charges, making upgrading to a genuine 350PS experience that much more affordable."

If i had an RS my wallet would be lighter tomorrow wink

If it's half as good as the kit fitted to my ST then it'll be very good.

How'd you know this? When you say 'made the HP the kit claims' do you mean it was over or under?

i would wait for the mag to be totally sure on that.

J W Racing dont quote a power figure so how you can say they ALL didnt make the claimed power is a bit harsh. If his was more than 380 then his +100 BHP kit worked just fine as his was down on standard. NO figures are released yet so no-one knows the true results just yet.
