Which ipods will charge in using the standard cabling in a MY09 V8?

Hi. I have a classic in mine. Works perfectly and charges. My iPhone wOrks but doesn't charge.

Put the Scorshe in-line and it will charge.

My iphone 3Gs does not charge not the latest ipod nano. AM need to address this issue.

It is not an Aston fault. I have a first generation iPod Nano and that plays and charges but my girlfriends most recent generation Nano only plays. It's a change on Apple's software that means recent versions of all their phones won't charge at the same time.

There is an adapter available to solve this problem or, if it's cheaper, just buy an older iPod on ebay!!!

It's not a software change from Apple, it's a hardware change. And to be fair to Apple, they made the changes absolutely ages ago and warned accessory makers that it was happening.
