In the 13 years of nulabours reign I thought that some looney left wing, disabled transgendered lesbian, ethnic minority, ex druggie, criminal background, broken family on benefits group would have got this boat race banned on the grounds of it being elitist white upper class from the Tory breeding ground university's. (although they do have big teeth and look like they are related)
Or at least set up a government sponsored quango to tell us that some inner city groups such as Tower Hamlets, Camden, etc should be allowed to compete in a speed boat with a 500m start.

It's a tradition, and a good one. Great atmosphere when it;s on!

I could swear the Sky newsreader just said that the Cambridge team celebrated by dipping their cocks in the Thames.

I hear that both teams have little cocks.

Perhaps you are forgetting the not inconsiderable number of communist sympathisers and spies from these "elitist white upper class from the Tory breeding ground" establishments?

Or the money. As we have recently seen (twice), even communists quite like being paid bought.

Isn't this just setting up a strawman? It's not banned, it's not going to be banned, no-one's suggesting or evening alluding to such a ban, so why would you even think about it.

See cars? They're more likely to be banned than the boat race.

Still, if it lets folk have a rant about something that doesn't exist, eh?

Exactly.

Great trait that. Instead of getting worked up about things that haven't happened, let's get worked up about something that hasn't even, and will probably never happen.

The Boat Race must go on! It plays a crucial part in song lyrics for that loveable cockney rhyming slang,

"When I took her home we hardly said a thing
I walked her to the door, expected to go in
She looked me up and down and really put me in my place
She said nice legs shame about the face
Nice legs shame about the boat race."

by The Monks

"They call me a two-face
Two-face
That's what they call me
They call me a two-face
Two-face, boat-race disgraced"

by The Fall

"Lucy's stealing clothes from unlocked cars
Freddy's got zits from picking off the stars from his face
Funky little boat race
Oh, the television man is crazy
Saying we're juvenile delinquent wrecks
Oh, man I need TV when I got T. Rex"

by David Bowie

They should be forced to have 1 disabled person each on their team.

Perhaps people with 1 arm?

Makes it

more inclusive
more entertaining
more challenging

You guys need to see the benefits of diversity!
