Why so much Police around chobham??

Hi, all just come back from Thruxton. On my way home through Chobham towards Woking, there were 2 police cars, one hidden near the petrol station, another stopped on a roundabout with lights flashing, there was no sign of an incident . There was also a police bike hiding on chobham high-street, oh and a ghastly scamera van hiding nearer Woking.

Anyone know what they are all doing, it can't all be for speeding?

Oh that makes sense, I could see there was more than one camera in the van.

I think that one was a bit more serious than just ANPR, but I can't say anymore
