Vote Match 2010

Vote Match
Quite an interesting device to check your views against those of the major parties.
First time through I followed the instructions on the final question of selecting which parties, 3 min, I would consider and not selecting those parties I would never consider voting for.
Result was fairly as expected.
Then they give you some more questions to refine the match and this time I selected all parties.

Just could not believe how much agreement there was with parties that I absolutely despise.
However interesting to see that the match gave me equal top place between the local Ind candidate and UKIP with Cons trailing a poor third. That is exactly how it feels on the ground.
Funnily enough Labour was.......
totally flat bang last place.
Unfortunately we are most unlikely to see the dismay on the Microbrand brothers faces as they are dumped out of a job, ie not elected in their constituency. That would be sweet.

Fascinating exercise though. Couple of loaded questions in there (deporting foreigners for example). Nice to see my hatred of Labia is fully justified

Presume the BNP is as I think there are too many people in the country, don't care what colour or religion people are but strongly in favour of closing the borders a bit tighter.
It's the 35% labour I find more worrying.

There is something wrong this this thing, while the UKIP thing is broadly correct in that I agree with their views, how exactly am I 56% Lib Dem when I disagree with many of their major policies, such as green taxes?

Some questions sound as if they were written by Sir Humphrey Appleby.
"NHS Administration costs should be cut by a third?"
No, I disagree with that, they should be cut by more, 50% at least. But I can't answer "disagree" because it would make me sound as if they shouldn't cut them at all. I cannot agree because it's not enough. Some other questions are also worded similarly. Like cutting the number of MPs by 10%, no I think it should be cut my more than that. Not enough detail or depth to really make it a good marker.
