Damper adjustment

To save a lot of experimentation, can any body advise which direction reduces damping on Racing Reds.

Adjuster at the bottom as if you were looking downwards, clockwise or anti clockwise ?

Wait for it to be confirmed but was told to turn them as if it was a bottle top, i.e anti clockwise would soften and clockwise would harden as if you were looking at upside down bottle.

To be honest have not had them on long and not adjusted since set up, but they are very very good !!!!!

So if adjuster at bottom and you are looking down onto it anti clock will soften gthe ride ?

Understand your confusion,if you were looking down shock as is from above and adjuster is at bottom then it would be clockwise to "open" the bottle and soften,

if you mean you are lying on the floor looking up at shock and the adjuster is on the bottom then it would be anti clockwise to soften.

Please wait for this to be confirmed by someone who knows for sure !

if in doubt... turn it as far as it will go in one direction. You will find yourself either driving a wallowy barge or having your teeth knocked out by evey tiny ripple in the road.

I thought of that, but was trying to avoid getting under every corner to many times and also dont want to risk 'losing' my original settings (counting clicks isnt quite as easy as it sounds)

edited to make a bit more sense, when you get the answer if not on here could you post to confirm what is right please, and what your original/improved settings are
