Hello

Currently thinking of somewhere to go in June/July with the Mrs and 6yr daughter.

The travel costs don't have to be the cheapest but just wondered where is the best value destination that has nice beaches, great weather, watersports and activities for young kids would be a bonus.

Thanks

Turkey but the prices may have crept up in the last few years (last there in 06)Kids eat free in most places but it was early in the season when we were there. Icemeler is where we stayed.

Don't have first hand experience, but from what I've read in the Holiday Supplements it's no longer the stand-out VFM destination it used to be, meals out in particular having increased in price.

Not cheap. Probably same costs as the UK. Other than that, great place to visit.

I second the Turkey recommendation for budget. North Cyprus is also cheap.

Turkey is still cheap compared to the rest of Europe, purely because they aren't in the Euro.

It isn't as stupidly cheap as it was say 5-7 years ago, but it's still cheap. Even cheaper if you venture off the beaten track and eat with the natives at cut out the fancy scenery. Think £5 for the best meal you could imagine.
