Fibreglass repairs

Hi,

Just wondering if someone can help me.

At the moment I am doing some glassfibre work on the front end and have almost finished the glass work. but can someone tell me if I need to seal the bare fibreglass before starting the filler work? Or do I need to seal the fibreglass first?

Just the usual resin coat over the glass..

Filler and glassfibre use many of the same components (hardner is same) so no barrier is needed before filling. Just bear in mind filler is not as flexible as glass/resin - so use it sparingly on flex area's.

I thought that and that's what I did with my Lotus but just wanted to make sure before I got started.
