Rob,

Dead easy to change - If its a Porsche wheel you just bolt it back on, if its Momo or other aftr market one ehtn you'll need an adapter. Just unbolt the old one (1 inch socket from memory)and bolt the new one on. Just be careful to line it up!!

You need a 19mm one IIRC. Halfords do these. Pain as you only use them once or twice. You can borrow mine but getting to High Wycombe will probbaly cost the same in petrol

Dont forget to park with the wheels dead straight before taking the old steering wheel off.

Also dont put the center cap on the new wheel until you have driven it round the block to make sure it is on straight

Yeah, sorry, it is larger than 19mm. I had wheelnuts on my mind for a second there. 27mm sounds about right, it's a fair bit bigger than most socket sets have as standard.

Good of JZ to sort you out.

I took the wheel off my old 944 the other day - it needed a 24mm socket (which I ended up buying at great cost from Halfords and will now never use again!) Dont know if the s2 is different though. I agree with Dontlift - dont put the cap back on until you're sure. I had to take my wheel off about 6 times until I got it right.

Try Ebay, wheels are often on there and they are cheap.
