Hot tub auto pump cycle query.....
Discussion
Hi all,
got a hot tub that cycles the auxillary pump every 12 hours on an auto cycle for around 5 minutes
Unfortunately this seems to be 2PM and..............2AM!
The control panel only has aux pump on/off, jets speed 1/2/off and temp +/-
I've tried turning the tub off for an hour or so then back on at 8PM in the hope that it would then set the 12 hr cycle to a more reasonable hour, but its stll set at 2AM
Any ideas?
Cheers

There will be an electrical control panel behind the 'wood' cladding (if it is a stand-alone) inside the electrical control panel will probabaly be a time-clock. It should be easy enough to re-set to the times you want.
If in doubt contact the supplier.
Thanks for the help folksIf in doubt contact the supplier.
LOL
When the guy had the panel off the other day there was no sign of a time clock set up, supplier went bust about a year ago
Sigh................
Hi,
the panel has been screwed back on v tight and the screws are a type I dont recognise or have anything that will remove (sort of allen key type, but not quite if that makes any sense!)
I've found the dodgy photocopy manual that came with it and this is t6he best I've got at the mo, though I doubt its of much help.....

Looks like there must be something on the pcb that instigates the auto pump.
When you say you turned it off for a while, was that at the mains?
I'd presume turning off at the mains for a few hours would get you a more favourable time sequence.
If you have alread turned off at the mains then there must be a battery powering the pcb or a time-set function on the pcb.
Is there any led's or digital displayed digits on the pcb?
