Inner edge of my OSF tyre on my Alfa is wearing a bit fast, so I need to get the camber sorted. Question is, does anyone know of a reputable place to do this? I want to avoid fast fit type places as I feel they never do it right!
BTW I'm in Cumbernauld.

through working in some garages and helping them out, i've found alot of the main dealers have good systems, especially mitsubishi dealers for setting up evo's. also the most sofisticated systems i've saw are in bodyshops for reseting a car after a smash

There is a guy on this forum who races and has a garage in Cumbernauld. He offered setting a few cars up for free as he was quiter that week. I missed out on the freebie, but did contact him regarding setting up my Audi. I haven't been yet, so can't ofer feed back. I think his name was Pete, but i can check through my emails if you want his contact details.

Progrip in Bonnybridge have a good name and i used them to set up my sunny gti-r years ago. Carluke is only 20-25 mins from you, so the previous recommendation is worth looking at also.

I luckily got one of the free places offered by pete, unfortunately my car was too low at the front and his equipment couldn't fit over the tyresfrown. His new premises look great and I would be happy to use him for work in future.

Kenneth Brown in Hillington sorted out my other car, a Civic that was crabbing badly. Purely by geometry and a couple of off-set bolts. He also sets up various race cars.

I'll third Pro-Grip - taken my last few cars there for alignment and also bushing replacements. John really seems to know his stuff, made a good difference to my Z4.

Went and seen John a Pro Grip yesterday. Really nice guy & spent the time to get the settings just right. Car drove a lot better on the way back smile Only slight problem is that this morning I heard a knocking nose from the OSF. Found it to be the lock nut for the track rod being loose. Remember him taking a call when he was doing that bit, so 100% gen mistake. I'll give him a call on Monday when he reopens.

I now would go no where else except pro grip. John has transformed the feel of my car. You could not meet a nicer guy. He sorted the wee problem no probs!
Glad I have found someone who can set geometry correctly. smile

Never made the SMRC meet this weekend, so don't know what you mean.

Never having been to either garage, so no bias (I have heard more of pro grip being mentioned before, but understand tadstar are newer?)
But that just seems a bit of an odd (first) post. No idea how the tadstar car went at all at the weekend, but looking at the car on the web page, it looks like a reasonably serious piece of kit. Surely the car can speak for itself, particularly being entered into a race series?
