Drugs and the government.

Now there is this legal drug, methadrome.
Which is legal, (for plant use at least), this is cutting into the illegal drug market. Cocain sales and MDMA sales are affected. The illegal drug market, dealers / suppliers etc are down on sales.
So what would you do?
Leave it, making money for the country on VAT and income tax on a legal industry. (Actually reducing deaths too due to purity).
Or ban it, making another drug available on the illegal market throwing cash to the criminal fraternity?

An interesting thought. Increasing criminal funds and creating more casualties through illegalising a drug, or leave it be and take money from the crims and raise a few urgently needed shekkles for a near bankrupt country?

Legalise all drugs, most of which a harmless if clean or leave the ban?

(Not a drug user personally except alcohol and smokes BTW).

As in FACT i don't, but knowing plenty of people that do use coke, the legal option is around a 5th the price and the high is as good if not better, so do the math.
Not being pals with dealers i cannot state this as absolute FACT but applying some logic...

All the deaths so far had other drugs, and I mean LOTS of other drugs taken with it, and most of them were taking far, far, far more than they should do.

I don't take them myself and have no interest in doing so, but I believe that if someone wants to, it is their choice. I know from a friends experience that around 150-250mg taken orally is a good does and you shouldn't take much more - most of the people admitted to hospital had taken grams and grams of the stuff over 24 hours... cretins...

Not forgeting of course that it is also possible to overdose on alcohol. Need to Google for the annual deaths from alcohol poisoning for comparison purposes.

Hmm interesting POV you have there.. you do realise that meow meow/meth/kitty/etcetc WAS legal and had been fairly well tested by the thousands that have and do take it every day without dying .. more people die a year from the alcohol content in your beers than they do from taking meth alone!
