Anyone else watching it?

Not sure what I make of it yet, it hasn't grabbed me like band of brothers did, right from the start

I agree. Is it the setting, do you think. Everything going on just over the Channel feels so real, where as Guadalcanal?

I loved it. It took a short while to get going, but by the end of the double episode, that's me hooked. It's not often that I sit infront of the TV for 90 minutes solid and am then annoyed when it's over and want it to last longer.

As the characters get under your skin which I hope they will start to do rapidly from here on in it will be good.

It will of course be hard to top BOB, especially as Winters or whatever his name was played the part so well and was incredibly well cast.
