Wheel Refurb

The nearside front wheel from my Griffith 500 is in a quite a bad state, a few areas of white patches are visible down the sides of the spokes and has some curbing from a previous life. All the other wheels are spotless and I cant say I have noticed any other paint degrading elsewhere. I am considering having it refurbed but just concerned if I have one wheel done the colours may not match? Would I be better off try to buy a second hand Estoril to replace the one or just get the whole lot done? PX wheels offer an exchange service for all 4 for £250 which seems reasonable any experience of them? Thanks

£250 seems like a lot i had my 17" wheels refurbed, shot blasted and powder coated for £150 for all 4.

Hi I used them to refurb 4 original wheels for Lotus Elan (M100) - tbh I was not overly happy with the end result - they were OK, but for that much...........................

Dont even bother with these guys, they turn out low quality work.... im in the north west and know a few people who have dealt with them, for a start you dont get your wheels refurbed, its the last set sent in.............. it works on a p/x scheme steer clear

I recently had my wife's Audi wheels refurbished by Spit and Polish in Tonbridge. The wheels weren't kerbed but badly corroded. A common problem with Audi 10 spokes so I'm told. The wheels came back looking like new. Cost was £280. I highly recommend them and would use them again. I think they have other depots around the country.
