Can anybody tell we where on Avon Radial slicks where the compound ref is?

There are four numbers stamped on the side wall that relates to the compound.

The numbers on the side wall relate to a spec, Avon can then tell U the compound i.e A11 etc, these ref are not on the tyre's

When they're new, it's written circumferentially round the tread! Now, this is obviously not a lot of use once you've used them, which is why your BMTR invoice shows the batch number of each tyre (repeated on the sidewall) together with the compound of that batch. Now, if you haven't got your invoice, see above...............
