Paul, I'm thinking of getting a snazy Leven one, but only when they've released their new ali gearstick gaiter surround. Then I'll have a spare round one. Or you could get a Leven one now - only £60!

I'll probably be at the 14/03 meet at the Forresters. Are you and the Kent lot joining the convoy?

Leven are only about 5mins from where I work and they regularly attend the Essex meet. I'll find out how close they are to production of the gaiter surround and let you know. Hmmm. - my new badges should be ready soon too, better check the bank (or rob one).

Roger, I'm seeing Leven on Saturday... I'll ask when I'm there if you want... unless you fancy a blat?

Cheers Pod but going away for the w/end (to Ascot, just past VW but probably not in the Chim). Please by all means enquire. Hope you're not buying anything for the S - save it for that lovely Cosmos Blue Chim!

If anyone else has a round ali knob, in decent condition, they want to sell, my g/f wants one for her car. Anyone know what the thread is, so I can confirm it fits...
Now if that doesn't spark off a series of jokes nowt will...
Seriously we need a nice smooth one to stop her hands getting cut. All the after market ones seem to have loads of allen bolts and knurled bits...

Depending on the fitment, the Ford Puma ones (about £25 from Ford) are nice machined ally jobs...
