nowhere to go and all the time in the world to get there

Hi, My OH is waiting for an Aussie visa and we're just hanging around the UK 'til it comes through, still about 2-3 months away.

We've decided to wait somewhere else but have no idea where. Would like somewhere warm/beach, cheap to live and rent for a few months and that's about it.

Have thought about Thailand or maybe Bulgaria.

Any suggestions?

Thailand or Vietnam would be a good shout. Can get by without spending a fortune and the beaches are alright I suppose

Yeah, though that. Then it all kicked off in Bangkok!!

You could always fly into Bangkok then straight out to Vietnam or elsewhere. Don't think there are too many problems at the airport itself.
Could always try India too.

Vietnam would get my vote, beautiful place and very cheap as well.
