If you mean proper cigars, you'll need to keep tem moist in transit if its long hall. 10 hours in the hold of a plane will do them no good at all. Take them as hand luggage keep them sealed and possibly with a spray of water in teh sealed bag

If you are thinking of bringing any back from Cuba keep them in your hand luggage. My case was broken in to at Havana airport, all the cigars and a pair of trainers were nicked.
