Am I right in thinking that if my one man limited company gets a mobile phone on contract I can use it for personal calls for free, or would I need to track the amount of personal calls made and split the cost to avoid it being taxed as a benefit?

Hi,

I'm sure Eric will be of more use - but my initial thought would be - 'how would anyone ever know otherwise?'

Sorry if this is a lazy, laid-back attitude - but it's one of those. If those concerned spent time going through every sole trader/ltd co's phone bills, there would be no time for anything else surely.

Thanks folks. Time for a chat with Vodaphone and move the personal mobile to the company.
