A van driver from the firm we use to dispose of out of spec IT equipment has offended a female colleague (who happens to be a close friend) today and let's just say I'm not best pleased with them...

The company we use(d) offered the following services:

Free
Take complete liability for everything collected
Non profit making
Good PR as disposals were often recyled to schools etc in Africa and Russia.

Could anybody recommend an alternative firm who may be able to help? The volume we're talking about has normally been a transit van full every couple of months, but with a forthcoming building move in July, we're likely top have about 800 CRT monitors and perhaps 200 PCs to get rid of!

I keep seeing stickers for some lot called Techclean stuck on various bits of equipment. Might be worth a try.

May be worth talking to Delphic - www.delphic.uk.com/ - who cover nationwide, most of the firms I know only cover inside the M25. Not quite the same service (have someone turn up and collect instead of binning it) but I'd have thought they could sort out something like that for you.

Only know about them because a mate helps run it - speak to Will!

Thanks for the help. I'm discussing the issue with the company we currently use and we may be able to resolve by them never sending the same driver back. At least they're taking the issue very seriously.

We are inside the M25, if that helps.

Will? Are you on the forums?
