Tamora for sale at BCA at Blackbush on Saturday

As the title states there is a 2002 silver TVR TAMORA for sale on saturday 17/04/2010 the reg is LG02 ***
it is in a terrible state and looks like it has been in a shed or old barn for many many years, it needs a bit of money spending on it and i am sure that it will only make a small amount of money.
So this could be a good project for someone.

I plan to be at Blackbushe that day, but I'd not bid more than £8000 for it.

The Tamora at Bedford on 22/04 looks to be better...

I look out for certain cars, irrespective of where they are. There are three DB9 Volantes at Blackbushe on 17/04 too

It was in Auction Hall 3 for several days while the engineers tried to fix something on it but I haven't been able to find out what was wrong.

If it's in a terrible state then surely it could easily need many many k thrown at it? Chassis? Paint? Interior? Electrics? Tyres? Engine? A very bad one could cost 20k to fix! A few bits could be 5 to 10k ?

I'm not working tomorrow so I won't be able to report on its price.
Mind you, if I'd known my holiday flight tonight was going to be cancelled I might well have chosen to work instead of having a lie-in tomorrow. Or maybe not.

Anyway, if anyone's going to the sale, enjoy the day. Several hundred convertibles to choose from including numerous Aston, Maseratis, jags etc. BBQ might be nice, too.

Colin - That Saggy is still being advertised on autotrader, and there are no TVR price results on the BCA website, so I guess it didn't sell?

£7800 plus buyers premium. It needed a new hood, a complete respray, a partial retrim, the power-steering wasn't working, neither was the speedo (which said it had done 1 mile), the front screen was chipped and there was no history nor any paperwork. And thats from seeing it for 10 seconds. I can't see anyone making a return from that....

£7800 - wow the seller should be chuffed. There is at least £10K to be spent on that from the description plus the hidden probs that werent declared/obvious I would guess.
