Child Seat in a Griff

My 20 month old little girl has developed a passion for sitting in my Griff every night when I get her home from nursery, obviously a girl with good taste! I would like to be able to take her out for the odd trip in the car to ensure she grows up with petrol in her veins like her father, can anyone recommend a good safe seat that is easy to fit, safe and that will not damage the leather on the passenger seat?

there was one in the 'for sales' section this week.. child seat for Chim.. it gave the make etc... take a look at that....
I used a booster seat for my 3 year old son... it worked better than the child seat we had as this tended to sit him a bit high and forward when used on a front seat... but same as your experiance, he made a bee-line for the car everytime it was out.. so in the end I gave in and fitted the seat and gave him a run... he loved it and I'm not been able to get him out since!!

Used a normal kiddie seat for my lad as he was about 5 when i got the Griff,now he's 7 a booster seat works better and he loves it.

We had half the staff at our local Mothercare around our car bringing out almost every seat they had until we found one that fitted properly, the Britax First Class Plus

The issue with most of the others was that the long stalk came far too high up the side of the seat to be secure. The above seat has an (official) alternative fixing method in which the stalk is pulled across the back of the child seat, hence no issue with its length.

Our little lad hasn't travelled in it yet, but warmer weather is on the way....

We've got a Britax car seat (not sure if it's exactly the same as the one on offer on the link above, but it looks very similar).

It fits very well and is safe and secure.

It's good for kiddies up to about 18kg (3 yrs) and my boy loves it, as it affords him a very good ride height and view.

So, we are looking at a forward facing seat.
In my opinion the Britax Eclipse should fit nicely into your car & perhaps it's worth popping along to any Halfords or Mothercare stores where they will try installing a few until they hopefully find something suitable.
We don't list your car on our database
but we do list the S1 Elise (because i owned one & carried out the fitfinding) but i am pretty sure the Britax Eclipse will fit.
