Hi Ladies & Gents

I am looking for some exotica on the 28th June 2010 in the Manchester / Wigan area to take my god daughter to her school prom. She is a massive petrol head and she herself races an autograss Class 1.
We desperately didn't want a limo , we did hope for something show stopping, give YOU a chance to show it off and make the local press etc.

If anyone could help out PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave a message here or mail me on johnnycbr@msn.com

Regards

John

Oh don't be so stuck up.

I've done charitable things when i had bikes for 10 years, recently sold my TVR and i'm simply looking to make somebody smile and make their day.

So " CHAPS " the original post stands, if ANYBODY can help i'd be pleased to hear.

I think the irritation might have come around by the inference that helping you would somehow benefit the owner. To get yourself a better response, how about suggesting how you might return the favour to the owner, e.g. donation to charity/somesutch...

ETA (after seeing the below post) ....or pimp your daughter.

If I were a little bit closer I'd help out, but its a bit of a distance from Barnsley..... unless she's an absolute stunner?

Thanks "CHAPS" for at least a little positivity in this, i'd be quite happy to donate to a charity... what about £100 for 'HELP for HEROs' . I'm not an 'MD' of any company, i'm just a regular guy with a regular car these days.
What else i can do is take some good pics (i do photography as a hobby) and send you some decent snaps.

I was rather hoping to find a fellow petrolhead who would be as happy to do this as Lucy would be to accept your generosity.

As for being stunning LOL , i really don't see her in that way, she's 15 hahahahaha.

'stuck up' - called a lot of things but stuck up is a new one. Thankyou JT - do I have to wear a suit nowfrown

Look..........ThreeSixty got it when he said its lovely doing stuff for people less fortunate than yourself, but when you constantly get asked to extend your charitable arm to do others 'favours' it gets a little tiresome. Don't offer us £10 (put quietly into our hand as if we should be grateful like a begger) - just either right a £100 cheque to our favoured charity as it would cost you £400 to hire a stty limo, or just say thankyou and save the embarrassment (if your that tight!!)

never mind PH'ers taking issue with me - thats what lifes all about....... now wheres Jeeves!!

I am sure that there will be someone out there who will be able to help. Manchester is a bit far for me, otherwise I'd have been happy to help out.

As for comments above; come on guys, the man is only trying to make a young girls day to be something extra special ... there's no harm in that ... my little one is only 3 but I'd do anything to put a smile on her face!

Seems a fair request John T but is it just me or would it not be a little "embarrassing" for the owner?

Maybe its just me.

'Who's that man that drove you here?'
'Oh, just some random bloke off the internet'
'Err...'

Neil ,

Point taken and fully understood, no offence meant.

Thanks for yet more positivity.

Nobody would be embarrassed, its all a big show to see how they can out do each other. The more style the girl arrives in the more Kudos they get ( i think it works like that)

Here you go, just to show what a true petrol head she is here is a clip of her driving my old TVR at 14yrs....... Come on folks, PLEAAAAAAAAAAASE ;-)

YES that is her real name hahahha
