confusedIt's about 3 years old but we've turned it on after a year or two of not using it and it doesn't even set the time. Is this part of the Digital Switchover (that's resulted in me having to retune my TV a couple of times alreadybanghead*) or is it just knackered?

*Incidentally, have they stopped buggering about yet?

As far as my experience goes, that's completely normal. I don't think it could be a more useless system if it tried.

DAB radio has nothing to do with the digital switchover of TV, although there are radio stations included in Freeview.

Regarding your radio:
  1. What make and model is it?
  2. Is it mains only or battery only or both?
  3. If it has batteries what are they like?
  4. Does it have FM as well, if so does that work?

How odd, it's working nowconfused After a couple of days apparently attempting to set its clock and being turned on and off I had another go when I went to have a look at what model it was.

So, erm, thanksconfused

Interesting, my DAB radio is excellent, in fact I have 3 in my house, one in the office, a clock radio in the bedroom, and a portable for out and about and in the garage, all work well and give me loads of choice of radio listening.

Some models do have a 'reset' button on which needs to be pressed to retune as opposed to just turning on and off...

So, you're in central London then...

Outside of the major cities, then DAB stations just don't seem to exist. I live near a large town 30 miles from 2 large cities. I can get one DAB station.
