can i put a glass roof on instead of the vinyl that's on there ?

Never seen one done. Maybe folding it in two causes problems

virgin 911 got one in with a glass roof

Errr, I had a quick look at the stock page and didn't see reference to a glass roof targa 964 or earlier 911 (which had vinyl targa tops).

The 993 targa glass roof is a million miles removed from the pre964 targa arrangement. Completely different animal that won't fit unless you get the angle grinder out and pay a welder an awful lot of cash.
