Anyone got HP P4015's in their network?

Are they noisy for you too?

Our 4100 it replaced was much quieter - and the 4200's and 4250's arent that bad that we have also.

Can anyone offer any advice?

A lot of people had the same complaint at initial release so HP tweaked the firmware - the 4515 is even noiser. They added a "Quiet mode" which off the top of my head has the following three modes.

Off - acts as normal

Adaptive - set a value of say 10 and if the job is less than 10 sheets it will run at half speed keeping the noise of the print engine down if more than 10 sheets the device will run at full speed.

On - The engine runs at half speed permanently keeping the noise down.

If you cant find it under the settings you may need to upgrade your firmware.
