Anyone else here coming along?
It'll be my first venture up to the circuit, and I'm really looking forward to it.
If nothing else, I'll be sure to have some pictures / videos up next week.
Yeah, i will be there with my dad. A bright orange caterham r300. Happy to help you on your sighting laps if you like. I know the place very well, so should be of some use. It'll be my first venture up to the circuit, and I'm really looking forward to it.

I did Cadwell a few weeks back - very wet but great fun.
I filmed a few laps whilst testing out a new camera, not great driving I admit, but may give you an idea as to the general layout before you go.

Awesome circuit! Excellent weather! Great day out! Days like yesterday remind me why I go to work
Nice to meet Andrew up there, and listen you his and his dad's tips - not braking through the gooseneck took a leap of faith, but worked really well thanks
Plenty of footage taken on my camcorder which I'll chop about, and upload to youtube over the weekend.

I was there with a client in a MX5 racecar, very little beats Cadwell in the sun and as there were very few cars on the day (about 30 total) so it was a rare treat.

Those two green MX5s were going well, especially on road tyres. Loved the look of them, quite fancy a track prepped '5 actually. How much do the Ma5da Series prepped cars usually change hands for, and how difficult is it to get them road legal?Maxx

I was there in the afternoon with my blue S2 106 Rallye and my mate in his Burgundy Metro, we had some fun battles
I was stalking one of your battles on the last session that I did in the afternoon.
I was very impressed with the two green MX5s too. I easily had the run on them around the faster half of the circuit, but couldn't match their nimbleness as they danced through the tighter sections.
I decided to leave the caterham for dad's sole use, so i did the afternoon in my integra. It was the first time I had driven it at Cadwell, but it seemed to cope ok. Spent most of the time going round on an empty track, so had a great time. Didn't come across the mx5's but dad said that they were quick and was suprised to see them on road tyres!! Good to see new people and have some fun with the GT3 and the 450hp Skyline...
Didnt know that you were there Malcolm. I would have loved a chat with you.

My car is 100% standard other than the brakes. In my opinion, the brakes that M BMWs come specced with are terrible, and it baffles me how they ever made it past the sign off.
At the end of last year I was lucky enough to get a set of AP calipers through a friend that works for my local main agent. They had taken a CSL with AP kit all round as px, and were returning it to standard. The discs that came from the car were knackered, however I got a great deal on all 4 calipers (6-pots front, 4-pots rear), bolts, brackets and hoses.
I now squeeze these AP brakes with 357mm discs under my painted standard 18" rims .... The improvement over standard is incredible! I'm so happy with them! They never faded a bit throughout the day at Cadwell, and are fine on the road too.

Mac,The website for the series is here : http://www.ma5daracing.com/
There is a section for Cars for Sale and there are 3 there at the moment for between £5k and £6k which is the usual sort of price.
The cars are virtually road legal, only thing people often do is remove the headlights to save weight. There certainly are some race cars that are road legal.
For around 115bhp they are very quick little cars, great fun and relatively easy to drive. I have some onboard video which I will post at some stage.
Here is some of the MX5 race action from Brands the week previous, same car (the 43 car)
