Anyone happen tom know what the latest version of Europe City Navigator Onetime 2010 is? I've just bought the DVD from Garmin, installed today, and it is telling me that it's version 2010.10 from April 2009. I wanted the DVD version rather than live download. Have I been sold an old map? I've emailed their support (in the US I assume) but have to wait 3 days.

There was a bug in the 'myDashboard' thing which led some users to believe that a new map was already available when it wasn't....

According to Garmin "The next map update available on DVD will be City Navigator Europe 2011.10 which is due out in April time (2nd quarter)."

I bought their 'nuMaps Lifetime' last year, but after the first release the next one demanded 13GB of spare C-drive space which I didn't have. After some 'protracted discussions', they agreed to cancelling my 'nuMaps Lifetime' and refunded the cost - they also sent me the latest City Navigator North America for free as compensation. But when I did a periodic check on 'myDashboard', it told me (incorrectly) that a newer map was available which I ordered, installed - and found was the same as the old one! That was due to the bug in 'myDashboard' to which they've admitted. So they've agreed to send me City Navigator Europe 2011.10 for free when it's released.

However, I now have a new computer which has masses of free C-drive space, so I'm going to ask them if I can pay the difference and revert to 'nuMaps Lifetime'.....

The nice people at Garmin agreed to my request, so I now have nuMaps Lifetime back - and have loaded the latest UK mapping software (City Navigator Europe NT 2011.10).

Download took ages. 3.7 GB which started off at around 360 KBps, but after 60% had been loaded, it slowed right down to 40-50 KBps and as a result took about 9.5 hours..... But the rest of the process was pretty quick.
