c) in a pretty safe job which can offer training/uni if required
d) living with a healthy disposable income each month for a 22 year old
e) debt free with no financial ties
f) not exactly thinking straight at the minute

Not too dissimilar from me now, apart from e and f.

Do what?

Carry on with work etc as normal really.

I''ll regret it in 20 years.

If f applied, then coke and wes, probably.

Gamble! Beyond doubt take a chance with everything and go for what you want without worrying about consequence.

Assuming you have a house/flat and aren't living with parents, I'd say you have it (nearly) pretty good. All you need now is a girl to solve problem (a).

Rucksack, chuck a few clean pairs of undies in, comfy pair of shoes, head for Dover, leave the country and let the world be your oyster.

Don't fall in love.

Try and sleep with as many attractive men/women (delete as appropriate) as you can?

Well a) has only been applicable for 4 days now, hence the need to do something different with my life!

In the same boat here. except for 'a' but she's pretty cool.

Just got back from 3 months in Japan, already booking to go back end of year, may check out Australia and the Philippines whilst I'm their.

I hope to look back in 40 years and not regret not living my life like it's the only one I have.

Heard a saying recently which I quite liked, 'You can always earn more money'.

Each to their own but for me, experiences are much more valuable than material possessions.

Good luck!

It's a question only you know the answer to. My personal situation is:

a) single
b) in a pretty safe job working with people you like
c) in a pretty safe job which can offer training/uni if required
d) living with a healthy disposable income each month for a 24 year old
e) student loans and about to take on a loan & mortgage
f) thinking straight at the minute

I'm on the path to where I want to go. I will have some fun along the way, but in the main I would like to be successful enough to offer a good family life and upbringing for my kids (whenever they come) with my wife (who i may not meet for some time, but I'm having fun meeting/casually dating various girls).

Essentially I want to give a family that I didn't have. Anything over and above that is a bonus.

Max this years cash ISA before you do something stupid on the rebound.
Arrange a great night out with your mates this weekend to get over a). Do NOT pull.
Ask us again in a week when your hangover has cleared!

Absolutely spot on. Because you'll meet a girl in a few years time and then it could be too late to do it.

Then you'll be like me - two kids, mortgaged to the hilt, two weeks a year in France.
