FireFox forgets updates

[MGB Boy]

Since updating to whatever the current FireFox is each time I start up it likes to forget the update for 'British English dictionary add-on'
this means each time I use my laptop I have to update the add-on.

Any ideas?
I've reinstalled the add-on and downloaded FireFox again (think I selected 'Repair'(?)

Raise it worth them?

Have it for latest Java thing. Firefox is getting rather tedious lately.

What version do you have? I updated to 3.6.3 recently & haven't (touch wood) encountered these problems.

I've found the latest few releases of Firefox to be dog slow It's time to switch to Opera or Chrome.
