To be able to watch the MotoGP this season. I'm in Dubai, and it seems impossible to watch it on the tely, and that the websites suggested on the biker banter section simply don't work.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I'm more than happy to pay for it....I just NEED to watch it.

Many thanks.

ps - Total internet idiot, so will struggle with even the basic instructions....Just hoping for a simple link really!

Why don't they work? because of your location?

If so, google for a site called 'The Cloak' I think it's called and plug the URL into that.

Cloak and most proxies are blocked.

One way to watch is www.Justin.tv - there are loads of various streams - you might find it there.

Alternatively, if the normal sites (iPlayer, 4OD etc) are blocked due to location, you can sign up for a UK based VPN service and use that - probably £5-10/month.

Get to know someone with a slingbox ;-)

Saves all the hassle of watching abroad.

Subscribing to a single channel is a pricey way of doing it. Get yourself a Slingbox and put it on a relative/friends internet connection

Chilli - Find a pub with Al Jazeera Sports. Go in there speak to owner, and tell them you will be there for every race this season spending beer money whenever there is a race on.

Good afternoon sir, how's tricks?

I tried that, but it kept freezing up.

Actually, I have Al Ja whatsitsname sports, but thought the commentary would be in Arabic.

You just said you wanted to watch it. You didn't mention wanting to listen to the commentary. Picky little sod, aren't you! hehe

Right, easy one then. When the GP is on, go to any bar that doesn't have AlJazeera Sports, get lashed, come home, find the GP on a Torrent site, eat fried egg sarnie, watch GP.

Job jobbed.

PS Not too bad. Leaky forks on the bike, so no sunshine riding this weekend, boo hiss.

Try the Sports Bar at the Jebel Ali Hotel. When we were there that had all the F1 races with the UK commentary. Might be able to do the same for the Moto GP. They also do a good burger.

Aparently not. Anyways, it didn't work and an email to the site yielded nothing.

Still, on the brightside, I found a random channel that showed it.
