Boxster Exhaust

Just saw a post about 2.7 exhausts being stainless and OK to clean with brillo pads. My 2.5 exhaust looks a little tired, is it also stainless and ok for the scourer treatment?

(No, I am not eternally lazy, the car is not in my garage at the mo!!!)

Dont do it it will ruin the finish .T cut will remove both the yellow brown grime and the soot without scraching the brightwork.

I use Autoglym metal cleaning paste, it brought the tail pipes up a treat on mine. Best to clean to zorsts with the car in the garage, or you will prob get arrested if the neighbours see you frantically rubbing your hand up and down the pipes with a bright yellow cloth!
